While jQuery itself provides many amazing capabilities, we still need to develop the logic to do various things. But why recreate the wheel, so to speak, when someone else has already done the work and made it available to us to use. jQuery plugins provide anything from low level coding assistance to high level interfaces with only a few lines of code.
